Singapore International School (Hong Kong) is a unique school outside Singapore that is guided closely by the Singapore education philosophy. Established in September 1991, the school offers a rigorous bilingual curriculum. The school culture and environment is enhanced by its diverse mix of students and dedicated teachers who come from different cultures and bring with them different experiences and talents. ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
1. All application forms should be duly completed and returned to the General Office (Attention: Admissions Secretary).
2. Application forms are to be returned together with the following:
Official transcript of grades/report for the final year from each of the applicant’s previous school on his/her performance, conduct and attitude towards learning, if applicable
One recent passport-sized photograph which must be pasted on the space provided in the application form
A non-refundable application fee of HK$2,500. Please submit a crossed cheque payable to “THE SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL FOUNDATION LIMITED” together with the application form.
A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate and/or other official documents which indicates his/her date of birth
Copies of both parents’ identity cards and travel documents (passport) which show their citizenship and signatures
A copy of the applicant’s proof of citizenship (passport)
Four stickers with parent’s name and address clearly written on them
3. Applicants for Preparatory Year 1 or 2 will be interviewed in English or Putonghua. Applicants are requested to state their language preference for the interview.
4. Applicants for the Primary and Secondary sections will be required to sit for Admissions Tests in English, Chinese and Mathematics.
5. Applicants studying in Singapore local schools are required to submit their applications together with their school results for placement purposes. They will not be required to sit for an interview or admissions test, unless decided by the School.
6. Interviews and admissions tests will be conducted in SIS (Hong Kong).

9. Our annual main admissions exercise takes place in January/February, and most of the vacancies are filled by end April. Most of our students have been with us from PY1. We advise those who wish to join SIS to do so at PY1. We have limited vacancies from PY2.
