On October 3, 2025, our Boys Basketball (Primary) School Team students participated in an inspiring charity basketball match with students from the Zhong Guo Long Charity Foundation. This event served as a valuable learning experience for both sets of students. Not only did the students get to learn basketball skills from each other and improve their own skills, but they also got a chance to interact with members of the other team and learn more about their backgrounds and basketball journey, over a scrumptious spread at the end of the match.
After the post-match meal, our SISHK boys then brought the students and adults from Zhong Guo Long Charity Foundation to our school’s Mid-Autumn Celebration and watched the wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival Concert together. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible teams for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship! We look forward to more friendly matches between the two teams in the future.

Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances 2025
On 16 November 2025, invited by the Consulate General of Singapore in Hong Kong to represent Singapore, our school proudly participated in the Asian Ethnic Cultural Performance in Hong Kong. Our aim was to promote Singapore’s culture, values, and spirit while celebrating the diversity of the Asian ethnicity. Our Chamber Orchestra gave a captivating performance featuring the heartfelt song “Home,” in celebration of SG60, inviting audiences to feel the warmth, unity, and belonging that define Singapore for communities near and far. Following this, the orchestra presented a lively medley of Asian classics that included “Dayung Sampan”, “狮子山下” and “男儿當自強”. Lastly, both our Chinese Drum and Wushu performers worked in harmony to present a powerful showcase, blending the dynamic energy of traditional drum rhythms with the disciplined martial arts movements, highlighting artistry and cultural heritage. Together, these performances reflected our students’ dedication to excellence, cultural exchange, and community outreach. The event strengthened the ties with Singaporeans in Hong Kong, built friendships with regional communities, and amplified the Consulate’s mission to foster understanding and appreciation of Singapore’s multicultural identity across Asia.

STEM Day Student Outreach
On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, the SIS(HK) Technology Integration Committee, in partnership with the International Christian Assembly Manna Ministry, organised a STEM Day Outreach for students in the North Point neighbourhood. The aim of the event was to share our school’s expertise in Science, Mathematics, and Innovation & Design with students beyond our school community. It also provided our students with an opportunity to give back to society by sharing the knowledge and experiences they have been privileged to receive.
Teachers from the committee, along with our Technology Ambassadors, volunteered to support the event. Participants engaged in several Makerspace activities, including building solar-powered vehicles and making kaleidoscopes. They also had the chance to interact with VEX robots, AI cameras, and Rice Mini Robots. A highlight of the day was the personalised gifts we produced for them using our laser cutter.
The event demonstrated the strengths of the Singapore approach to Mathematics and Science, as well as the growth of our school’s Innovation & Design programme. It also helped strengthen our connection with the local Hong Kong community and gave our students a deeper appreciation of the knowledge and skills they gain at school.
Beneficiary: North Point neighbourhood

Mother’s Choice YAC Social Awareness Campaign – Life with Colours and Hearts in a Jar
The Mothers Choice Youth Ambassadors Club (YAC), as part of their AY2425 Social Awareness Campaign Week focusing on Adoption, invited students and teachers to create sketches around the theme “Life with Colour: Hope for Kids.” These sketches were then compiled into a colouring book. The funds raised through various activities throughout the year, including a bake sale, CC Vertical Marathon, and the CC x SC x MC Flea Market, enabled the YAC student leaders to produce these colouring books, which would be donated to children in childcare homes. The goal is for the positive imagery from the SISHK community to inspire messages of hope, positivity, and love among the children in these homes.
