Enrolment and Preparation for First Day of School (AY2025/2026)
Thank you for choosing Singapore International School (Hong Kong) [SISHK] for your child’s education. We are very much looking forward to welcoming your child and your family to the SISHK community in the coming Academic Year 2025/26 (AY2526). The first day of school will be on Tuesday, 19 August 2025.
As part of the enrolment process, please find the following items which require your follow-up action and some useful information to help you and your child prepare for the first day of school:
1. Enrolment forms
Please download the fillable enrolment forms below according to your child’s level in the new academic year. Enrolment forms and the relevant supporting documents should be printed on single-sided paper. If your child is not a Hong Kong Permanent Resident, please include a copy of your child’s valid dependent visa/student visa as part of the supporting documents.
All original signed copies must be returned to the Admissions Office either by post or by hand to:

2. Personal and Corporate debenture
All students are required to hold either a Personal or Corporate debenture at the point of enrolment. Personal and Corporate debentures are fully-refundable. In order for us to issue the debenture certificate to the debenture holder, please complete the Nomination Rights form (available in item 1) and supplement it with the relevant supporting documents as stated below:

3. Child safeguarding form
In SISHK, ensuring the well-being and security of all students is our top priority. We recognise every child’s right to learn and feel safe in all contexts. The school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy serves to establish guidelines and protocols for preventing , identifying and responding to instances of child abuse , neglect or harm. It outlines the responsibilities of staff members , parents, vendors and students in promoting a culture of safety and protection within the school community. The policy adheres to the laws of Hong Kong, guidance provided by Social Welfare Department and EDB, International laws and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
As per our safeguarding and wellbeing guidelines, we kindly request Primary 5 – IBDP new students to complete a Child Safeguarding form. This form should be completed by a representative of your child’s most recent school and returned directly from the school to the Admissions Office at admissions@singapore.edu.hk. Please kindly pass the downloadable form to the school for their further action. All responses received will be kept confidential and any information provided will only be used for safeguarding and child protection purposes.
4. School bus and public transport policy for new students
As a responsible institution that is committed to environmental sustainability, our students are strongly encouraged to take school buses or public transport as a joint effort to reduce our carbon footprint, traffic congestion and noise and air pollution. Starting from August 2020, new students joining the school will be required to either use the school bus service or public transport when travelling to or from school.

5. Preparation for the start of school
We understand that parents may require some time to plan and organise their child for the start of school. A Welcome Guide will be emailed to parents in July 2025 to give parents an overview of the school and to help in the preparation for your child’s first day at SISHK. Information pertaining to the school bus registration, booklist, uniform and other relevant information will be available in July 2025.
