Enrolment/Preparation for First Day of School AY2020/2021

Thank you for choosing Singapore International School (Hong Kong) (SISHK) for your child’s education. We are very much looking forward to welcoming your child and your family to the SISHK community in the coming academic year 2020/21 (AY2021). The first day of school will be on Wednesday, 19th August 2020.

As part of the enrolment process, please find the following items which requires your follow-up action and some useful information to help you and your child prepare for the first day of school:

1. Enrolment Forms

1. Please download the enrolment forms according to your child’s grade level. All forms must be completed and returned to the Admissions Team in order to finalise the registration of your child as a student of the school.
2. For Primary 3-6 parents ONLY, please complete the following Google Forms:
   1. Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement
   2. Chromebook For Home Use Scheme

 

2. Personal and Corporate Debenture

All students are required to hold either a Personal or Corporate Debenture at the point of enrolment. Personal and Corporate Debentures are fully-refundable. In order for us to issue the debenture certificate to the debenture holder, please complete the Nomination Rights form and supplement it with the relevant supporting documents as stated below:

a) Personal Debenture	b) Corporate Debenture
Debenture holder’s passport Debenture holder’s HKID (if available)	Copy of company’s business registration Nomination letter from the company

3. School Bus and Public Transport Policy for New Students

As a responsible institution that is committed to environmental sustainability, our students are strongly encouraged to take school buses or public transport as a joint effort to reduce our carbon footprint, traffic congestion and noise and air pollution.

Starting from AY2021, new students joining the school will be required to either use the school bus service or public transport when travelling to or from school.

Completed enrolment forms, debenture nomination rights form and relevant supporting documents should be printed on single-sided paper and all original copies must be returned to the school either by post or by hand to:

4. Preparation for the start of school

We understand that parents may require some time to plan and organise your child for the start to school. The Admissions Team will provide parents with more information pertaining to the school bus registration, uniform, booklist, term dates, and other relevant information by end June 2020. A Welcome Guide will also be provided by then to give parents an overview of the school and will help you in your preparation for your child’s first day at SISHK.
