Project CARE: Community Art via Intergenerational Relationships

An intergenerational art exhibition co-organised by the Singapore International School (Hong Kong) (SISHK), Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Jockey Club Sunshine Complex for the Elderly and Mighty Oaks Foundation.

This is the showcase of artworks made from Lego bricks co-created by the Primary 6 students from SISHK and the elderly residents from Sunshine Complex. As the elders and students co-operate on designing and creating the artworks, they learn to work, have fun together, accommodate and understand each other better. This helps to break down barriers and stereotypes through effective communication, enhancing mutual respect and understanding between generations.

Project Care is the result of a partnership between SISHK, Sunshine Complex and Mighty Oaks to promote intergenerational relationships and community bonding.
