SISHK Career Day
Rationale and Purpose
The SISHK Career Day is organised with the aim to expose our students to a variety of industries and further study opportunities in Hong Kong and abroad. This year, the SISHK Career Day will consist of a career panel and a higher education mini-fair for the IGCSE and IBDP students, as well as an alumni sharing for the S1 and S2 students.
Through this event, we aim to enable students to explore and be inspired by possibilities and diversity in pathways when considering future career options. It is also a valuable opportunity in the post-COVID era for students to practice their face-to-face communication skills, especially when engaging industry professionals as well as admissions officers from higher education institutions.
Leading up to the Career Day in March, the form teachers and university counsellors will prepare the students in class on possible questions to engage the university representatives at the mini-fair booths so that they can practise their face-to-face communication skills.
Career Day Programme
On 15 March, the Career Day programme is as follows:
