Music… will help dissolve your perplexities and purify your character and sensibilities, and in time of care and sorrow, will keep a fountain of joy alive in you. Dietrich Bonhoeffer
In the classroom, students undertake a range of joyful activities; including solo performances, group performances, compositions, improvisations, group discussions and presentations to name a few. This offers our students various platforms and opportunities to demonstrate their understanding, provide peer feedback for improvement and build on their aesthetic creativity.
We also recognise that a love of Music does not begin nor end with our classroom practice. Our students also engage in enrichment programmes and exciting experiences that extend beyond the classroom, such as the Hong Kong Music Festival competitions, annual music recitals, and our exciting Performing Arts week where lunchtime concerts as well as house singing competitions are held.
This November, we launched our inaugural Inter-house music competition. The Competition was designed to provide an opportunity for our students to showcase their musical talents in a competition setting.
