As Singapore proudly celebrates 60 years of independence (SG60) this year, Singapore International School (Hong Kong) (SISHK) is excited to announce a broad, year-long series of inclusive and people-oriented activities, initiatives, and programmes. The first event, “SG60 SISHK Chinese New Year Celebration with the Community” took place on Thursday, 16 January 2025 at the school campus located at 2 Police School Road, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong.

Over HKD 700,000 was raised within the school community over the last 2 months for this celebratory event. The ceremony featured the presentation of hampers and donation cheques of HKD 12,000 each to 60 selected charitable organisations, showcasing our commitment to support the community and to share the festive cheer. Special guests included Mr. HO Kai-ming, JP, Under Secretary for Labour & Welfare, and Mr. ONG Siew Gay, Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong. The ceremony also included performances by SISHK students, adding to the festive atmosphere and highlighting the talent within the school community.
