Congratulations to the 94 SISHK students from Primary 2 to Primary 6 won an award at the 2018 Singapore & Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO)!
The students competed against 28,000 students from 20 countries and achieved 35 gold awards, 28 silver awards and 31 bronze awards. Only the top 40% of the participants receive an award.
SASMO is one of largest math contests in Asia; it aims to arouse students’ interest in mathematical problem solving and to develop mathematical intuition, reasoning, logical, creative and critical thinking.
