Every year, our students receive offers to study from reputable universities, locally and overseas. This year, options include Medicine at the University of Cambridge, Physics at University of St Andrews, Architecture at University College London, Education and Science at University of Hong Kong, the HKU-UCL Dual Degree Programme in Law as well as Boston University, New York University and The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
Kenny Ling recalls when he found out that he will be studying medicine at the University of Cambridge, “My heart almost jumped out of my mouth! The school has encouraged me to be more inquisitive and further develop my interests. This gave me the freedom to delve deeper into research such as how drugs work in the body and this fueled my interest in medicine.” Kenny is now looking forward to studying and learning more about the subject he is passionate about.
Nicole Ng is excited about starting a new chapter of her life at the University of St Andrews in the UK. “My teachers were amazing, especially in biology and it opened my eyes to the many different aspects of the subject, and played a part in my decision to pursue the subject.”
While Peter Lee will definitely miss school life at SISHK, he can’t wait to start his studies at The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and experience college life in the States. Before that, he has to return to Singapore to serve his National Service.
“I would like to congratulate all our students on receiving their results, as well as the hard work and dedication they have shown in their studies. These results would also not be possible without the strong support our students received from their families and teachers”, says Mr Kelvin Tay, Principal of SISHK. “We wish our students all the best for the next phase of their learning journey.”
